Empowering Mothers: Maternal Health Outreach in Idah, Kogi State, Nigeria

In September 2023, two impactful maternal health outreach programs took place in Idah, Kogi State, and Oloya/Agbopa-Agbona, Oyo State, Nigeria, underscoring the commitment to maternal well-being in both regions.In Idah, Kogi State, 210 women were the beneficiaries of comprehensive maternal health services, including free ultrasound scans, medical tests, health education sessions, and obstetric consultations. These essential interventions provided expectant mothers with the care and support needed for a safe and healthy pregnancy journey.
